My Aunt Johnnie Mae Roberts
Jackson must be remembered as
giving the ultimate sacrifice. She
lost her husband after he came
home from WW I.  Uncle Jim died
in 1939 after returning home with
injuries he received while
serving.The federal government
never compensated her and she
was forced to raise her family
alone.  I'm not sure where or how
exactly he received his injuries,
but this I know. He served his
country with dignity and bravery.
He left a wife and 6 children.
