SALUTING: Uncle Frank Farrell Uncle Frank was more like an older brother or maybe even a Dad to me. Some of my earliest memories as a kid were when Uncle Frank gave me toys. He always brought me something when he came to visit; callING me Donald Duck. He was an expert with tanks and motor cycles and his job was to train the new troops in the use of both. He remained stationed in the states because the Army considered his expertise in training the most valuable to the war effort. He was originally stationed somewhere in Louisiana. Uncle Frank also was also an expert shot, in fact he was good at everything, sports-wise, especially golf. Golf Poem dedicated to Uncle frankUncle Frank Farrell was a star running back for Fr. Worth Northside, where he was considered one of the fastest backs in all of Texas in the 30's. TANKS(your training) A MILLION UNCLE FRANK FOR YOUR SERVICE AND YOUR LOVE!! Return to Blake's Art
